Helping people realize their optimal performance at home and at work is our mission. We believe that there is a need for a research driven way to acquire emotional competencies (EQ) that compliment the hard skills that are so readily available. Hard skills are offered from our early schooling and continue through our formal education. Then our employers add onto that knowledge base via countless seminars and workshops, few of which improve people’s emotional intelligence.

Where we are short changed is the limited opportunity to acquire the soft skills. In the past those soft skills were provided to us by our parents and in the communities in which we lived. According to experts that opportunity is being taken away by social and cultural changes. MYT is designed to help fill in that gap and help people balance their intellect and emotions and enhance their lives.

MYT is based on the work of leading psychologists who work on the frontier of business and home/ work development. Our founders understood that the brain will not allow us to acquire new habits absent repetition and that stress inhibited learning and development. Culturally EQ is declining as busyness and stress take more and more of a toll. The development of EQ is essential to arrest this decline and enhance performance at home and work.

Our work is to teach the EQ soft skills that are proven to build optimal performance while simultaneously minimizing the negative impact of worry, stress and hurry. We teach each individual to understand their strengths and weakness and help them develop a plan to maximize their talent.
