In addition this body of work demonstrated significant decreases in stress and anger scores while increasing vitality, positive states, & emotional well being scores. Here are our results.

  • Perceived Stress Scale – Stress reduced by 25%
  • Trait Anger -  Anger reduced by 13%
  • Physical Vitality – Physical health increased 10%
  • Quality of Life – Increased by 10%
  • Positive States – Positive experiences increased by 19%
  • Gross Sales – Saw an increase of 24% per group while matched comparison groups increased their sales by 10%.

What makes our results so impressive is the attention to detail of the process we use. From the moment we receive a registration form we provide clarity and explanation to the participants so that they can maximize their benefit from this work. Here is a sample of the many steps we take to assure a positive participant experience.

  • Welcome & Explanation letters are sent out electronically upon receipt of a registration form. It contains all of the logistical details for the program launch workshop and sets expectations for using their "Observers" to drive results. A sample copy is included as Appendix I for your review. Dates for the IDP & Observer Training are announced in the letter.
  • Four to five days prior to the workshop, the participants receive an email with instructions to complete a series of questionnaires and an EQI test to establish their EQ baseline. When appropriate a control group is identified and they also complete the same material.
  • The day before the workshop another email goes out confirming the participant's attendance. It contains a repeat of the site location address and telephone number as well as a grid with all of the participant's phone numbers and email addresses. Should someone need to reposition their slotted IDP or "Coaching Conference Call", they will have easy access to other participants to swap their sessions.
  • At the workshop, dates and times are confirmed for the Observer Training and IDP sessions. Dates and Times are now selected for the "Coaching Calls" and strict adherence to them is stressed.
  • One week after the workshop, an "Observer Training" conference call is held where all participants and their work & non work observers are briefed as follows:

    • o We ask for a commitment by the "Observer" to the participant & explain the consequences thereof
    • Being direct and clear is being honest
    • Limit feedback to the IDP only is encouraged
    • Emphasis on consistency

An email is sent to all "Observers" reminding them of the call and letting them know that we have made our newsletter available to them. A recent timely article is attached that is related to our work.
  • One week later, two weeks after the workshop, the IDP's are presented to the participants in a private conference call. Afterwards, they are instructed to present them to their observers and to begin scheduling their feedback sessions. MYT™ Observer Pad's are provided for their use.
  • Four "Coaching Calls" are spread out over the next 5 months with our Ph. D'.s. The agenda is as follows:

    • An update from the participant’s perspective on their IDP progress
    • Feedback from their “Observer’s”
    • Areas of opportunity
    • A review of their “Ideal Outcome”

A reminder email goes out 4 to 5 days prior to each “Coaching Call” to stimulate attendance.
  • Two "Team" Conference Calls are scheduled to help participants share "best practices" that resonate with them.
  • Prior to the last "coaching Call", new questionnaires are sent to participants for completion. During the last call, the scoring differences between those completed prior to the training are compared to those recently completed to measure progress and discuss next steps.
  • A letter of congratulations is sent to the participant summarizing the results of the program and an encouragement to continue onward with their new habits.
  • A reunion dinner is help for all of the participants. Each is entitled to bring one guest.

MYT™ Promotional Workshop

EQ Not IQ is the Differentiator in Attaining Optimal Performance Workshop

This workshop was created by Art DeLorenzo, President, Owner, & Co-Founder of MYT Group, LLC. Its design centers on the fundamentals of EQ – Emotional Intelligence – and the dramatic effect that stress imparts on us physiologically. It is a promotional event that is intended to stimulate interest in participating in a formal MYT Original™. Mr. DeLorenzo and his colleagues, Professor Rick Aberman at the University of Minnesota and Professor Fred Luskin at Stanford University had conduced 8 and ½ years of research on the impact of EQ training on stress reduction and productivity. The results were startling by any statistical standard that scientists use to measure progress.

  • Decreased stress scores - down 25%
  • Decreased Anger scores - down 13%
  • Increased Vitality scores - up 10%
  • Increased Quality of Life Scores - up 10%
  • Increased Positive States Scores - up 19%
  • Increased productivity - participants in this project demonstrated a 50%-400% improvement in productivity over their peers which led to an average increase in sales of 24%.

The workshop opens with an explanation of what EQ is made up of based on the work of acclaimed researchers. Lively stories add a tone of entertainment but they are crisp in their definition of the point at hand. The speakers then goes on to take attendees through two or more exercises that immediately can be implemented to help lower stress. Once the event moves onto what happens to us when we allow chronic stress to control us, the audience is captured by the science of how the brain works. A National Geographic video is referenced that shows the work of Stanford Professor Robert Sapolsky and his research into the damage of chronic stress on productivity. In wrapping up the event, the speaker summarizes the information previously presented and loops back to the questions the audience wanted answered at the beginning of the workshop to see if they have been addressed.

Over the time that this workshop has been presented, 99% of attendees answered "yes" to the question was this a good use of your time'. Although this event is presented with the hopes that attendees will become a participant in an MYT program, it is our sincere hope that if that does not happen, the attendee will have a positive image of what our firm's value proposition is all about.
