Parenting Program

Enhance the joy that comes with parenting!

Join us for our 6-week Positive Discipline parenting program, facilitated by Chip DeLorenzo

During this class, parents will learn to develop mutually respectful relationships with your children. They will be taught how to invite cooperation by setting limits with kindness and firmness, understand the roots of misbehavior, encourage positive change, and overall build a deeper connection with your children through positive discipline.

This class will teach you how to trust yourself and feel more confident in your parenting skills. This in-turn will help bring you and your little ones, a lot closer.

Effective discipline is…

Respectful (kind and firm at the same time)

Helping children feel a sense of belonging and significance

Effective long-term

Teaching children valuable social and life skills for good character

Inviting children to discover how capable they really are

The Positive Discipline framework is based on the ground-breaking work of Jane Nelsen and Chip DeLorenzo, co-authors of Positive Discipline. The philosophy suggests that a misbehaving child is a discouraged child; and that children need encouragement to thrive.

Program Facilitator, Chip, has worked with thousands of children and families in the roles of teacher, principal, teacher trainer, parent educator, and most importantly, as a parent developing mutual respect, cooperation, confidence, and responsibility in children.
