Great presentation with tips I can use for tackling habit change!

It’s nice to be reminded that taking a few minutes for yourself is the essence of being more productive.
— Shante M
So far, I’ve had multiple “aha” moments. This program is amazing.
— Nnamdi U
Nice work. Very well done, thank you.

I participated in the Mastery and the Leadership program in 2018. Through the process of completing both of the programs, what I found most valuable was the following:
Mastery taught me the art of taking a moment and practicing PERT, before responding to a team member or a client. Practicing PERT helped frame the appropriate response and deliver it in the right tone, helped avoid misunderstandings thereby fostering good relationships. It taught me to recognize the stress triggers at home and work which helped me to be real and learn to ask for help. Leadership taught me some good skills, to deliver an uncomfortable message as constructive feedback, also taught me how to set goals along with realistic expectations and to hold myself and the team accountable and take ownership. Through the course, I learned my strengths and my weaknesses and in doing the zoom sessions with the other participants, I was able to identify similar issues with other practices and get valuable solutions and perspectives. I highly recommend both workshops.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Uplifting and positive. I will definitely be passing on all I have gained from this meeting to my friends and family.
— Rosie D
I very much enjoyed this experience. It was validating in that I feel I am choosing the right paths for myself and my success! Thank you all!
— Kimberly M
An informative event. I left feeling better prepared to take on day to day challenges with increased gratitude and overall resilience.

A wonderful program full of information and tools to help reframe my world into one where I am happier and more productive.

I would just like to let you know about my progress in regards to the MYT training. I found it to be highly beneficial for me in my business and personal life. It helped me realize that life isn’t all about work and that I need to balance my time. It also helped me recognize that people have quirks and I myself have quirks and that I need to accept them as just that. As I too often mistaken these quirks as major flaws and would allow them to stress me out tremendously. They also stressed the importance of health and taking care of yourself, we get so wrapped up in our everyday lives that sometimes it takes someone not in your life to remind us of that. I highly recommend this training, regardless of one’s position or how successful a person may be, as everyone has room to benefit from such a self-reflecting program. Thank you.

This program helped me rechannel my way of thinking and to use it to be a better leader. It also helped me strengthen my skills with meditating. Great experience I would highly recommend to anyone
— Christine D
I am already in the practice of the general topic (EQ). This made me better understand why it happens or how to do it better, it is natural for me to do things that way on conflicts but I didn’t know about meditation as a part of it. Thank you!
— Karen
I think that this presentation would be good for people who struggle with anxiety. It would be good to hear ways that they can take back the control by recognizing the good they already have in their lives.
— Debra L
This a great contribution to my overall well being and gave insight to the person I would like to be moving forward.
— Kaycee
I’ve probably coached 25 people over the last year that have had trouble sleeping, I said I’ve got two things for you to do, one was do two or three real good deep breaths when you put your head down and two when your head hits the pillow the natural tendency of human beings is to think about what you didn’t accomplish for the day or what went wrong, and Art said no, no, if you want to sleep better, go through your day and all the things that went well and that were positive, because you’re going to bed and you can’t check it off your list anymore. Maybe it helps them sleep or maybe it doesn’t, but you’ve gotta go to bed and the day is over, don’t think about what didn’t go well or what you didn’t get done, think about what you’ve accomplished. I still do those two things almost daily,

MYT and its staff of professionals always amaze and impress me with their knowledge, compassion and communication!
— Kim G
Emotions are inherent in nearly every decision we make and discussion we have therefore learning how to save a conversation or maximize it with the tools MYT provides can be a game changer.
— Nathan T
In the short amount of time in this program, I watched myself evolve and grow into a leader that now doesn’t feel as stressed and can cope with a lot of work/life balance situations with more ease.
— Christine D
EI is a course I had been looking for and also needing in my life in order to better control my catastrophic thinking.
— Tim R
I am truly grateful for MYT coaches and sessions for assisting me in understanding not only my own emotions but the emotions of others. I never realized how many times I had a ‘cognitive distortion’ and by recognizing that, it allowed me personally and professionally to stay focused on the task at hand instead of what I thought was being said or portrayed to me. The thought record was another amazing tool they offered which helped me understand “was I really annoyed” or just being “over-sensitive” for no reason at all. I highly recommend MYT to not only professionals but to any individuals wanting a better quality of life!
— Kim G
Thank you MYT for the LDP I program. I found the Situational Leadership Model well detailed and very beneficial in developing 2nd in line leaders. Karen’s demonstrated abilities of patient listening and developing the participants were the program in action for me. Thank you, I’m taking back a lot to practice on.
— Geetanjali K.
I found these workshops to be very rewarding. We tend to get very busy in our practices and taking the time to focus on these areas is often just the recipe needed to push through to the next level. The program helped me to look in at my personal self rather than look out for answers. I would definitely recommend it.
— Gordon S
This lecture was a wonderful reminder of the importance of ‘the little things.’ The little things we say to ourselves, the little things we do for ourselves and our need to be grateful for all the little things in our lives...especially when it all seems insurmountable...there’s always a way...
— Jennifer
MYT training has given us the pause needed to evaluate our current standing and more effectively plan our next steps. Since engaging with MYT, sales, productivity and employee engagement are measurably up.

We never seem to find time to stop and freeze a moment to recognize or acknowledge what we are experiencing. Maximize your talent is a program that provides you with techniques that can be used personally and professionally to enhance the quality of your life. Staying focused in the face of competing emotions and goals, and sustaining optimal performance are the two most challenging things we confront as advisors. The program provides you with tools that can be used over and over again to stay on track. The time and effort were worth it and the techniques learned timeless.
— Gloria C
MYT was an amazing experience, extremely informative and helpful in not only my professional life but my personal life as well. Thankfully I was able to participate in the extension program which took the experience to a whole other level! Thank you to Art and his talented team for all the knowledge and support received!
— Kim G
Mastery is a combination of skills and strategies that show you parts of your own brain you didn’t previously know about and help teach you to manage them. My living is EQ and mental health, but I was still learning so much about myself from every exercise and presenter. This program fosters real improvements.
— Emily V
The results we have achieved are wonderful, but even more important is the wonderful feedback we’ve received from our past participants. As an owner of multiple companies the amount of stress and loss of sleep could be tremendous. MYT Training, which I highly recommend, is an outstanding educational tool needed for anyone engaged in a leadership role. I found the results to be extremely rewarding, my stress level has been diminished extensively and my quality of life has improved tremendously.
— John T
Before 2000 when Professor Luskin and Art taught me about deep breathing, I had never heard of deep breathing. When I played college athletics, they didn’t talk much about deep breathing, they mostly just yelled and screamed, so the deep breathing is a very big one for me that has provided great benefits over the years. It’s also simple, which I think is something we all can learn. It does work.
— Dan M
My original goal was to move myself to a happier and more peaceful attitude within the context of a very stressful situation. I found that the program really helped me move in the right direction toward that goal. I will always remember a lot of what I worked on during the program and am truly grateful that I was able to participate.
— Brian C
MYT has research-driven programs with content essential to leadership in any organization. The company uses the best model for learning by providing assessments, training over a series of months and built in accountability. Concepts are gradually introduced then practiced on-the-job. It’s not just a “feel good” experience. The training helps target and modify behaviors that contribute to organizational success. These are solid professional development experiences.
— Karen P
I strongly believe that there is a strong connection between our spiritual, emotional and physical body. If there is no harmony in one area that will manifest itself in the other two. Everyone is the author of their own health, disease and happiness. The presentation was very informative and inspiring during these challenging times. A wonderful reminder of how powerful our mind is and how we can cultivate an optimistic mind to become more resilient.
— Timi
Several of our leaders, advisors and staff have participated in Maximizing Your Talent. This exciting developmental program helps participants identify and leverage their most effective behaviors to support their personal and career growth. In addition, the workshop, coaching sessions and Individual Development Plan supports participants in making longer term behavioral modifications that result in less stress and higher productivity.
— Thomas M
Being a punk 20-something year old kid, I said, ‘what the heck are these guys talking about breathing and psychology….’ I said, ‘you’re wasting my time, where’s the free lunch?’ and I’m glad I did it. It does work. The deep breathing also helps with pain management. I see people and a lot of my friends and colleagues go down the horrible path of injury to narcotics to a horrible life. I’m not saying it saved my life, but I would tell you I think it’s one of those things, it’s another added tool.
— John S
I recently completed the Mini-Mastery program and found it most beneficial in helping me better navigate the intricacies of relationships and communication, in both my personal and professional lives. Without reservation, I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in their personal growth; and after all, who isn’t? (smile)
